1. Agreement to Terms
By using YourDigits ("the App," "our Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any part, please don't use the app. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and YourDigits.
2. Description of Service
YourDigits is a voice-first personal finance app that helps you:
- Track income and expenses using voice or manual entry
- Build and manage budgets aligned with your pay cycle
- Set financial goals and track progress
- Get personalized tasks based on your financial health
- View spending insights and account balances
Important: YourDigits is a tracking and budgeting tool, not a financial advisor. We don't provide investment advice, tax guidance, or professional financial planning services.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account:
- Provide accurate information
- Keep your account secure (use a strong password, enable biometric lock)
- One account per person
- You're responsible for all activity on your account
4. Your Data
You own your financial data. Here's how it works:
- Your data stays yours - We don't claim ownership of your transactions, budgets, or any content you create
- Accuracy is your responsibility - You enter and verify your own data
- No bank connections - We don't sync with your bank, so your data is as accurate as what you enter
- Export anytime - You can request a copy of your data
- Delete anytime - You can delete your account and all data

5. Acceptable Use
Please don't:
- Use the app for illegal activities or fraud
- Try to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
- Share your account with others
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Use automated tools to access the app (bots, scrapers)
- Attempt to access other users' data
6. Subscriptions and Payments
About subscriptions:
- Free features - Basic tracking and budgeting are free
- Premium features - Available via subscription (pricing shown in app)
- Auto-renewal - Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime - Manage subscriptions in your device settings
- Refunds - Handled by Apple/Google per their policies
We use RevenueCat and the app stores to handle payments. We never see your payment card details.
7. Intellectual Property
Here's what you can and can't do:
- You can use the app - We give you permission to access and use YourDigits for personal, non-commercial use
- We own the app - Our code, design, branding, and content belong to us
- You own your data - Your transactions and financial information belong to you
- No copying - You can't copy, distribute, or sell any part of our app
8. Disclaimers
We do our best, but please understand:
- Not financial advice - YourDigits is a tracking tool, not a licensed financial advisor
- Data accuracy - Your data is only as accurate as what you enter
- No guarantees - The app is provided "as is" without perfect service guarantees
- Technical issues happen - Servers, internet, and devices can have problems
- Voice transcription - May not be 100% accurate; always review transactions
Important: Always consult a qualified financial professional for investment decisions, tax planning, debt management, or other financial advice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Limited liability - Our responsibility is limited to what you paid us (if anything)
- No indirect damages - We're not responsible for lost profits, missed opportunities, or other indirect effects
- Your decisions - Financial decisions you make based on app data are your responsibility
This doesn't affect your consumer rights where prohibited by local law.
10. Account Termination
About ending your account:
- By you - Delete your account anytime in Settings (permanent)
- By us - We may suspend accounts that violate these terms
- Service changes - We may update or discontinue features with notice
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Australian law, since that's where YourDigits operates from.
Any legal disputes will be handled in Australian courts, but this doesn't affect your consumer rights in your own country.
12. Dispute Resolution
If you have a problem:
- Talk to us first - Email support@yourdigits.app to resolve issues
- We'll work with you - Most problems can be solved through friendly discussion
- Mediation option - If needed, we can use an independent mediator
This doesn't prevent you from using small claims court or consumer protection agencies in your area.
